We have got LA on our minds. We are less than a month from launch and are beyond excited to have a home in LA and roll out the first bi-coastal boutique studio membership. Enough about us - this week's FITiST of the Week truly lives the bi-coastal life as Deputy Editor of Daily Candy. From green juice to her daily coffee fix, Crystal knows the 4-1-1 on everything amazing on both coasts. The FITiST team loves being in the know, so Crystal is our ultimate resource for all things noteworthy. And, we might add a rocking FITiST on both coasts. Go Crystal.

Name: Crystal Meers

Homebase: Los Angeles

Occupation: Deputy Editor at

Pick-Me-Up Song(s):  I could listen to the random remixes on on SoundCloud or stream all day.

Guilty Pleasure: The T.V. show Fringe, $25 hour-long reflexology foot massages at Sunset Foot Spa in L.A., the cinnamon apple toasty at Babycakes.

Fave FITiST Workout:  Whatever one is happening at the moment I happen to be free! Being able to see everything that's open or upcoming and close by is one of my favorite things about FITiST.

LA or New York? I take the fifth.

Trader Joes or Whole Foods? Trader Joes for snacks like dried pineapple, Whole Foods for specialty things like amaranth cereal, the farmers market for fruit and veg.

Coffee Bean or Starbucks? coffee subscription at home, Iced Cortados from Commissary on Fairfax in L.A. or Ground Support on West Broadway in NYC. I also have a serious thing for blended lattes at Gimme! on Mott St.

Chocolate: Dark or Milk? I break for Green & Black Organic Milk Chocolate Bars with Sea Salt and Peanuts.

Green: Tea or Juice? Juice! Anything but carrot from Organic Avenue, One Lucky Duck, or The Juice Press in NYC or Pressed Juicery, The Juice Maids, or NatureWell in L.A. I could really go for a Dr. Green Juice right now.

GMA or Today? KCRW in the car.

Fall ….Fashion Must-Have? Beauty Must Have? I'm having an accessories moment: Bright bags, big necklaces, and bracelet stacks. I don't go anywhere without Ilia Beauty Pure Lip Care in Blossom Lady pink or Bang Bang red.

Who do you love for Spring? Matchy-matchy shorts suits, party dresses inspired by the late 1920s/early 1930s, and all the wild patterns and prints (oh, I can't wait!).

How do you find your best?  By making conscious decisions to pack the most awesomeness into every moment every day -- which includes surrounding myself with positive, inspiring, and hilarious friends who help me find my way.
